Finally, a sneak peek from the album we recorded in BC last summer! Hopefully a nice label will help us get this out to the masses some time soon. We started playing this song a few years ago and we've always noticed people like singing along to it. This is the first time it's ever been recorded!
They tell me that I'm the fucked up generation
tell me I'm entitled, not grateful (for) what I'm given
self important, that's an endorsement
I know you don't believe me when I say that I don't care
It's just another phase I'm in "just trying to be fair"
I don't need you telling me it's just a phase
I've been stuck in this phase since 7th grade
Well I'm still here, I'm not going anywhere
I could just disappear, there's a whole world out there
Well I know I'm a grown-up adolescent
But I still haven't learned my lesson
I guess I'm treading water and I don't know what I want
To have everything? to move on?
Told me to go to college and then get a job.
That's what I did. It's no fun.
I don't have any plans for my future
Right now it seems so far away
How am I supposed to think about tomorrow
I still haven't figured out today.
I don't know what I'm talking about.
Don't listen to my advice
When I'm older I might think twice.
